[MH16: All I Want]

Wow!

It was great! one of your better works! I can see you're getting better! You used chords! yay! nice job MH! loved it! At the beginning the strings sounded like the frosty the snowman song for the first 6 seconds! I loved it! gr8 job!

Haha, this is not the first time i use chords. Actually, i use chords all the time only not on the same instrument :P
And i never heard the Frosty the snowman song, but i guess i can see that as a compliment :P

All you did was mix some mixcraft loops. You didn't make any of this. All you did was arrange them in a different order.

headache!

That synth instrument thingie, whatever it was at the beginning gave me a headache! AAA! It wouldn't be a problem if it was quieter, and there was less annoying distortion! after that 30 seconds of pain, it was a lot better! but it came back with accompaniment, so it wasn't as annoying.
If that ANNOYING DEEP SYNTH THING HAD LESS DISTORTION AND WASN'T AS LOUD COMPARED TO THE OTHER INSTRUMENTS IT WOULD BE A 9 or 10.

A key element of a videogame song is, it has to loop, because if its in a game, you're probably gonna play it longer than 2 minutes, and I personally find it annoying when a song stops, then restarts. I dunno why, but I just hate it. So I think you should let it loop better. Trust me, it makes a difference!

Still, I liked it!

Anyway, i've had some other critique about that bass synth, so i'm probably going to change that.
Also, i didn't make this with the purpose to be used in a Flash. It's a Video Game song, not a loop. Songs don't have to loop.

[MH16: One Last Wish]

I SENSE A TRAINING MONTAGE :D

You know what this song reminds me of? Like in movies where there are those training montages where the main character trains to fight the antagonist. Like in rocky, or karate kid, or those 80's sports movies.

I actually think the song would sound better without drums. Those cymbals where quite annoying during the first 10 seconds. I change my mind. The snare and kicks are good, but the hihats and cymbals brought your score down one star. They were just annoying.

for the first 30 seconds or so, I thought you could have used a different instrument than piano. I think somekind of woodwind would work better. Same notes, different instrument. But after that, it seemed to go well with the music!
Also, make the piano notes a little quieter.

The end was great, but it could have been better. I just think you should have added a violin that played notes an octave or two higher than the cello and base. It seemed a little empty without the high notes to accompany the low notes.

I still loved it!

Sorry, but i don't agree with you. The hi-hats and cymbals all have their own place in this song and i'm not going to delete any of them. And i don't know about changing the piano. I can always try that.

interesting

I didn't really like the voice acting, it kind of felt out of place. At times, it kind of felt like a little kid was reading it. It sounded very boring, and monotone. I stopped caring after 30 seconds. But what saved your song, was the background music you made! That was brilliant, and probably one of your most solid pieces to date. I just wish the voice acting didn't ruin the song. YOU did a great job!

It was monotone because it had to sound like he was a narrator. And he doesn't sound like a little kid, in fact, i think he did a good job.

good to hear your songs again!

its been awhile since Ive checked out your songs. I loved this one! The basey thing at the beginning was a little to crunchy and annoying for me. I liked the cool effect at 100. The flutes were great, and sounded cool! Loved it!

OMG I thought it would be classic MH, but it wasn't! It was better! I cant nitpick, or say anything bad about this song, because its so good! I forgot I was listening to a song! man! You are brilliant!
